I’m playing at a small private space in San Francisco these nights, with friends opening–its bound to be some great nights. The space is magic, and the piano has a good heart. My band will be comprised mostly of the trio with Carey Lamprecht (violin, voice) and Keith Cary (pedal steel through Leslie speaker, tololoche, mandolin, etc). We’ll have some special guests on various undisclosed evenings–Ralph Carney and Lemon DeGeorge will be sitting in, as well as David Mihaly, Indigo Street, Sam Levin, and assorted badasses. I’ll be playing different songs every night, with minimal exceptions.
998 Valencia at 21st Street in the Mission District of San Francisco– a very beautifully designed gallery/vintage/antique store called VIRACOCHA.
The openers will start at 8, and then I’ll start playing at 9. The tickets are on sale at this site–go to SHOWS… all the tickets are priced on a sliding scale, so that if you feel like being an eccentric hundredaire (like myself) or if you are a legitimate eccentric thousandaire or etc, we present you with the opportunity to play patron of the arts.
